Sandstone steering wheel??????

Okay, I'm a numpty.

The mrs 75 tourer came with a very used and marked steering wheel.

So, being the kind person I am I treated her to a used one of eBay which was in good condition. Steering wheel arrived in a lovely sandstone leather.

Removed the old one and realised it's actually Smokestone. Not sandstone.

So our tourer now has a two tone steering wheel. Sandstone wheel with a Smokestone airbag cover.

Anyone wanna swap?

I only bought the new steering wheel cos I didn't fancy using the leather dye.

I'm sure the two-tone look will grow on me.

Hi Chris

Not sure why you want to avoid using stubbies dye.

I have just done my wheel and it was a complete doddle to do - stubbie even supplies small foam pieces to apply the dye which work a treat.

I would highly reccommend you give it a try.

Nothing against stubies dyes. Just the leather was so badly worn it was almost suede like in parts. I wasn't sure dying it would make it much better.

Well if you don't want my Dye

I have a spare smokestone wheel, I thinks it's in not bad condition, was keeping it so when I sold the cdt I would removed the walnut one and put the ordinary one bak on. I'll check and get back to you.
