Funnily enough, I've not had to perform this procedure while driving the 45

I rather think it's time to convert to a single pump version

She's still there! You always know you're going to get a bargain when she's sitting in the little hut .

Did nothing today as it won't start and it's pouring down..... Went to get a cd out of it yesterday and the battery is completely flat due, hopefully, just to lack of use. Can't remember the last time it was driven. Too many cars and not enough time to rotate them all, think some need to go!

A couple of years back I fitted some cheap Chrome tail pipe finishers. Inevitably because they were cheap and nasty the paper thin Chrome has turned to rust. Today I fitted some nice Stainless Steel ones. The old ones were a snug fit but looked like a couple of straws sticking out the back 57mm diameter but the new ones are 70mm diameter and look so much better. Hopefully the the S/S ones will keep there looks for a little longer. All in it came to £12 including a giant duebly ? clip to keep them more secure.
All good fun :-))

When I fitted chrome trims to mine, I used to put a little gun gum onto the pipe to stop any rattling or working loose.

Incidentally, you got a link for them? lol

Sorry buddy but there's no link for them.
I bought them from my local car accessory shop just down the road from me.

No, but as I'm a year closer to 50 today, and with all that stop start rubbish on the A14 on Saturday, my knee was aching.

I can see why you like your mushbox, I couldn't be bothered commuting on that road each day,

Never mind, it'll soon not have an UBP to worry about

Brian
