Electrical problem.
Hello, After a very difficult time , family wise, I have not driven my car for weeks. The battery was completely flat. After a full charge I tried to start it, when I tried to connect the battery the horn started sounding, so I can''t connect the battery. Any ideas please?. Thanks, John.

This happened to me.
I connected the positive terminal, then with the ignition key in one hand, and finger poised to press the unlock button, I pushed the negative terminal onto the battery. From memory, the first button depression silenced the alarm, if not it wasn't many depressions. I may have been lucky. Hope this helps Mike

Hello Mike, That worked great, thanks very much. I would never have thought of that. Thanks again, John.
