That's what we replaced it with !
Probably a 2.5 wouldn't be free either

Managed to source a low mileage 190 lump for £300.

Well worth the upgrade plus the 10hrs labour including swapping sumps over due to the different oil coolers

Evening Phil

I'll see if the scrap man has been down at the garage I use for transplants but I did ask Mike the manager there to whip the cams out for you before it went

Chris Astraeus if you still want the remaining lump it will be less the cams.
All depends what happened yesterday (I was too busy today to venture down there)

No probs
It cost me £54 plus VAT to get the replacement 190 engine here on a pallet.
For 150 kg's I thought wasn't bad.

For anyone's future info here's some engine weights

Rover 75 KV6 dressed 154 Kgs 340 lbs

CDT bare 117 kgs /257 lbs
Dressed = 208 kgs/460 lbs

1.8 turbo dressed = 108 kgs /240 lbs

Is this still available? I need an engine for the new monogram I'm picking up.
