As you've eluded, nothing at all. But people like to impress with their tools of the trade. Personally, I would be worried about a girl who is attracted to a butcher with a 14" stake knife! p.s. misspelling intended.

It's all about how things have changed. Care of the tools of your trade and how long they lasted, aswell as quality of goods, is highly relevant to the topic. We used to be a Britain built on craftsmanship and reliability. The bean counters have now moved the production elsewhere and if it weren't for high tech, our bread and butter manufacturing would be long gone.

The old saying People get the Government they deserve is true.
We have consistently voted for govt that have done all they can to dismantle everything previous generations built up - all our public services, just about any corp with the word British in its name. Often they have done that by appealing to the lowest common denominators, shifting the blame for societies ills onto the poor, the disadvantaged - in fact anyone other than those in charge of shovelling public cash into private pockets. I hear plenty of people complaining but have never heard anyone say “I voted the wrong way”. I guess that’s fair enough, I mean they are all the same aren’t they?
