When something is a bargain and this clearly was, I recommend taking cash the same day and collecting there and then.
Bit late now I know but it saves a lot of heartache & ill feeling for both parties!

car wasn't sold for months, i paid a deposit and the seller reneged

best thing to do ignore buyer send deposit back bar caller
