Whilst at work today, i received one of those phone calls on my mobile from an 0800 number. I answered it, and it was the AA. They were offering mechanical and labour breakdown cover for my motor. He asked me for my reg number, so i gave it and he said "It's an mg zt", to which i replied "yes". He went on to say "We cover all sorts of things such as head gasket failure, clutch failure....." and at that point i stopped listening. These words incenced me, but just as i was about to tell him to **** ***, he asked if there was another car in the household - to which i said yes. Again i gave him the details of our other car (04 plate picasso), and he gave me the low down on the quote.
I can make 6 claims a year, upto a maximum of £500 on each claim.
Each claim has a £65 excess.
And the cost for this....... £8 a month for the zed, but just £4 a month for the picasso. This ****** me off, so i told him i wasn't interested.

Just watched a really interesting and moving documentary about a Wellington Bomber built in 24 hours. Well worth watching on I Player if you get a chance! Sorry about poor description; I'm ready for bed!

I think diesels attract a no-start discount, no startee no stopee.

Yes Derek it's a pity, but rather than cancelled it's been postponed due to the waterlogged arena.
