I know how you feel about needles and Dentists as I spent a good 10 plus years going nowhere near the places until like you I got an abscess and had to do something about it as the pain was totally debilitating as you say.
Anyhow, your Dentist sounds like he knows his stuff and has given you confidence in him. I'm sure you'll feel 100% better when its all done
once had 3 extractions and 19 fillings in one sitting such was my fear of dentistry , i just wanted it all done right away , after that i brushed night and morning and used mouthwashes , sadly my gums are the problem.

when i first went in for the examination the dentist asked me why i hadnt been for so long , when i said " frankly i hate the dentists" he replied " well i hate some patients " that answer drew me to him right away

This all reminds me of my fav dentist joke .

A guy phones the dentist and asks what he charges for an extraction .

The dentists says he has 3 price ranges .

" 200 quid gets a good anesthetic, no pain and no blood".

Thats too expensive says the guy !!!!.

" ok says the dentist " £100 gets low grade anesthetic , some pain and a little blood".

Still too dear says the guy !!!.

" ok says the dentist " £10 gets you no anesthetic , lots of pain and loads of blood".

Ok says the guy BOOK THE WIFE IN FOR MONDAY

Physio and CBT today so its my working from home Wednesday again.

Far too sunny to be stuck in the flat answering emails and phoning people.

So this hammock on the COZ timber decking is just the job

Hi Mr Pob06, glad recovery is going well! After my long shift today, happy to be in the garden sunning myself! All is good!
