Good morning Derek, that is fantastic news. I hope they keep you on their books until the wound has completely healed. They have the 'know how' experience and resources. What did the doctor say to you yesterday?

There is another method Derek and that is to insert a vacuum drain into the closed wound, which sucks the pus and blood out into a vacuum glass bottle. It is removed when no more pus comes out. Usually inserted post op in theatre. But can be done in the community in an emergency. I had 2 in after my op and they cleared everything out. They were in for 4 days. Stick with the nurses, ring and call them about the dressing coming off.

It's our end of the year at the Camera Club tonight.

We have our final competition which is "Picture of the Year"

All members can submit a maximum of two entries in each of the three categories, Colour Print, B&W and Digital Projection.

All images must be ones that have featured in previous competitions through this season.

The winning image will be featured as the "Picture of the Year" on the front page of our clubs website

Next month the club has its annual get together meal and awards ceremony at the Clacton Golf Club, (Phil and Stu know the place well) and that ends the season until we start up again in September

If anyone fancies looking at the club and some of the members images (including mine) this is our website.

Excellent shot of the 'Golden Ship' and the sharpness of the touring cars on the move. Panning is never easy but very satisfying when you get it right.

Afternoon all, There are some cracking pictures in your camera club Jeff, the black & white ones always seem so pin sharp

I made the mistake of firing up my Win10 PC for first time in weeks & the updates have been going for over an hour now time for another jam butty & a cuppa.
