Insurance Help
Ok guys, my renewal is up in 4 weeks so have been shopping around.
I know a few on here have recommended Adrian Flux, so I gave them a call and was quoted a huge £556, thats on a 116bhp diesel 75. I am 47 years old, not 17 Can anyone recommend an insurance company who won't try and rape me?

I just phoned my current insurer, First Direct, and they are cheapest by far at £441
Would like something cheaper though :-)

First choice swiftcover (they wouldn't insure the V8) followed by Admiral

There's something then that the underwriters don't like, are you the only driver ?
If so add the wife / girlfriend / boyfriend (you get the drift) as a named driver.

I'm with Churchill, £225 with wife as named driver and I only have 3 years NCD as had comapny cars in the past. OK, I am 54 but I think £225 is good.

Yes I am the only driver
Adrian Flux blamed it on young drivers and high amount of claims. Shame they dont hammer the claimants instead of us who rarely if ever claim
