Since 2008 i have done about 340,000 miles primarily in my ZT's including a fair mileage in the wifes 75 1.8TI before it succumbed to for a second time to HGF and hence given away. Indeed yesterday and today 342 miles for work whilst next week will include about 450 miles over three days in Scotland: both for work.

Default Rover 75 tourer

I have no doubt about Rover 75 cars doing mega miles, mine just come back from two trips to south Devon in an six day period and then went over to Great Yarmouth in Norfolk, in June she was at John o groats and in July was in Lands ends, today i have just arrived back from Norfolk via Devon again and polished off another 1000 miles. round trip

these cars will do it easy, the M47 CDT engine is a fantastic engine and still drives like new, and silky smooth, my Rover 75 tourer is now on 338000 miles, still uses zero oil between services, FANTASTIC car that's why i've kept her from brand new !! IRREPLACEABLE!!

WITH NOTHING ON THE MARKET zero!! and battery cars have no chance against a CDT DERV engine the hardest engines to last on the planet !! period!!

screw Davos and the sustainable agenda !!, AKA making mankind poorer for it .

I still cover 40k miles each year as a minimum, work and pleasure. I know from my logged miles on all cars owned to date I passed the 1000000 mile mark a few years back. The most I put on any of my 5 75/ZT was on my 2003 (Bought new) with 175k when I killed it with petrol! I am sure I could have still had it if not for that incident. If I had it would have been well on towards this 750000 mark, obviously with new parts fitted where required. Most I have put on a single car was 241k that was a 1.4 Citroen ZX, followed by a Triumph Acclaim with 216k. Rust killed the Acclaim and desire for a 75 back in 2001 meant the Citroen was traded in.
