Rear anti roll bar
I'm retro fitting a rear anti-roll bar to my 2003 saloon. (The bar and drop links is on special offer at Rimmer Bros at the moment!). 2 questions have come to mind...............
1.) Why are the 2 retaining brackets so expensive? Is there anything special about them? I'll try and source those second hand I think. 2.) What fixings do I need? There are no fixing bolts provided with the kit. Thanks. |

My sentiments exactly!
It seems the price has just gone up £30! I only paid £60 + vat for mine. https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-GRID001546 |

I replaced my ARB last week as part of my replacement of rusty upper & lower suspension arms, drop links and trailing arm brackets . I picked up a second hand arm in good condition on eBay for £30, resprayed it with hammerite etc. New arm bushes from rimmers. Even without tracking it feels good as new. However can understand sudden rise in new arb's suggested by you.

Just reporting back, I can confirm that the fitment of the rear ARB has made a huge difference to how the car feels. It no longer floats and squirms over bumps and gives a lot more confidence.
I would heartily reccomend this upgrade to anyone! |
