The Nexen N Fera RU1 is a High Performance Summer tyre designed to be fitted to SUV and 4x4
That is what it's described as.......no doubt they can be used on other vehicles but as I said I doubt anyone on here has fitted them hence the lack of replies......but I can recommend the 8000

I can't fault the N8000's. I have them on the ZT and plan to fit 17" Nexen N8000 on the tourer in the springtime.

I love Nexens.......the best of the mid range in my book.
I used to work for Stapletons and Nexens were the ONLY tyre that we never got returned because of manufacturing faults. Even the higher end tyres were all returned for faults. I have a set of N8000s ready to fit to my wheels very soon. |

Nexen NFera SU1
I've had these fitted to 11 spokes on the rears of my ZT-T since March this year. Covered 6.5K since then with no issues. Bought to replace 2 extremely noisy cheapies having read reviews saying they were very quiet and I must admit I don't notice any noise from them. I paid £137 for the 2 fitted.

Interesting to read the mixed reviews. Many slating the Nexens.
I've driven on axle sets of Continental SC2, Vredestein Sessantas, Avon ZZ3's, Falken FK452 and 453's Nexen N8000, and Goodyear F1 Ays 2 in my ZT-T. On the basis I have not yet lost grip on the rear end, these are my opinions on the tyres fitted to the front. Continentals were the best grip in every respect, but wore quickly. The most expensive. Avon ZZ3's and FK452 were OK, but worst performers overall. FK453's and Goodyears have the worse grip when pulling away or accelerating in damp conditions, but good cornering grip in all conditions. Vredesteins were middle of the road so to speak. Nexen N8000 were nearly as good as the Contis, even when close to worn out, and were certainly the best value for money. |
