rover 75 new sunroof-glass repositioning
Just fitted a secondhand sunroof to my rover 75. Working ok but when in fully closed position the rear drivers side of the glass is about 10mm short of coming up to be flush with the outside of the roof. Anyone got any ideas on how to reset/realign the glass.

Hi Walter:
From Xpart Service Manual: Refit 1. Position glass, fit screws but do not tighten at this stage. 2. Align glass to the roof and tighten screws, alignment points should be measured 300 mm on either side of the center line. 3. Set front of glass flush to roof panel to 1.0 mm down. 4. Set rear of glass flush to roof panel to 1.0 mm up. I hope this may help you, Cheers!!! Joel Antonio.

might be worth trying the sunroof reset first. Push the button forwards with ignition on and hold for 15-20 seconds and that'll reset the sunroof position. Had to do it on one of mine once when the sunroof would sit a bit low at the back.
