That's one of the jobs I have on for next weekend although I'm not doing it myself as that's outside my skillset. Or maybe if I was younger and had better facilities for doing car work I might give it a go but I'm not and I don't.

I'll just have to volunteer for a few Saturdays' overtime at work in February to pay for it all but driving an articulated lorry is more within my comfort zone.

Swapped the wheels on the 75 to fit my winter tyres. Been meaning to do it for a few weeks, but it's not really been too cold. Now ready for the impending big freeze...

Took Connie down to have her sills welded and I was sent some pictures of the state of one of the inner sills at 3pm ........ nasty ! So that's going to cost me even more to repair and he hasn't looked at the n/s yet !

I think I'm going to be tap dancing in the market square with my comb and tracing paper in my vest and welly's as my late Grandfather Stan would have said .

Had my rear outer sills done on the tourer after a mot fail in October. Due to time taken to get the work done & the mot backlog in NI, it was January before I got another mot. Due to delay, It had to go through a full mot, and failed again….for an inner sill.🤬
All done again, for 3rd attempt in a weeks time.🙄🙄

I'm on the Crofters Estate in Newbottle with the only 2 75's in the village apart from the black ZT 260 on the top road towards the A690.

I noticed a trend in my cul de sac that I have 2 75's , next door has 2 Vauxhall Astra's , further up a lad has 2 Golf's and across from him another lad has 2 Citroen Relay's !
