Default Rear light prob ztt

As title got a ztt v6 with a real odd problem,rear lights come on when i take the key out ? Checked plenums all clear,put new brakelight switch on still does it,can anybody shed any light on the problem thanks in advance

Try a battery reset first. If still doing it try changing the lsm mate. Seem this issue come up quite a few times in recent weeks. Usually a headlight staying on. The problem has usually been traced to a faulty lsm thats taken in some moisture at some point.

It's the LSM at fault, the same thing happened to me eight months back.


New LSM and all fixed

I believe a replacement LSM also requires a T4 session to install the correct VIN, mileage, etc.

Or Toaf, however the OP has a nearby T4 in Newton Abbot and can spend some time browsing Trago's while it's being fixed.
