I'll have 8 sets initially.
I'd have been happier to pay double the price if they'd make a more limited run of say 500 sets, I think finding buyers for 1000 sets could be a tall order.

Might sound daft but wouldn't someone like Rimmers want them too?

An update on this project, the prototypes are being made this week and I have approx 300 sets ordered so far, still a long way to go to reach 1000 and after the initial orders it doesnt look likely that the target will be reached

I will be speaking to the company to see if we have any options.

As I said earlier in the thread I thought 1000 sets was a tall order.
I think that however many sets are made, the initial order was worth £3000 to them to recoup the tooling costs so say 500 sets at £6.00 would still achieve that figure.
The problem is that at £6 each people would not be wanting 10 sets.

I'm not sure how other members feel but I'd say i'd be willing to go to £10-15 per set (for one mirror). £30 to repair them fully isn't that excessive I don't think and at least we'd have a better chance of getting a result and an order placed.
