My car has been in dock with Trikey in Barton for the last week or so as I have had a trip to Ireland, and thought it would be a good opportunity to get a few bits and bobs sorted

So it's had new strut tops and drop links as well as an oil change and general check over on T4. All looking good and the ride is a lot better with the work having been done.

Can't recommend Trikey enough - as always.

That's not the Plenum hole. The drain hole (see same pic) is blanked off on mine and the two plenum holes are deep in the bottom of the plenums, one drivers side and one passenger side. The pipe you refer to is the windscreen washer pipe, it disappears into the bonnet by the bonnet hinge.

Went to Trikeys to hopefully finish the Pheonix car, sadly turns out it needs a couple of sensors he didn't have in stock. On the bright side polished the headlights and Andy fixed the number plate lights.

Its so near done but things keep cropping up!

Unfortunately, I've spied plenty of other jobs to add to the list. MOT time will soon be looming, various bushes, pipes and handbrake (Bini parts ordered) to sort out.

Got to love these cars
Let us know how you get on with it please?

The sun is shining today so I fitted the Jules Plenum Shield.

Following the instructions made it an easy ten minute job. Such a simple and inexpensive mod, so I can't imagine why Rover didn't do something similar when the car was new. Well worth doing and another thing less to worry about.

Just completed fitting the BMW mini equaliser. Fiddly and greasy job. But easily doable. Just need to adjust the rear drums now and should be good to go.

Thanks to everyone who pointed out the mini part and to Arctic for the pictures you've posted up.
