Got a better fit of bumper to wing (it had been pushed in from previous ding)
Trying to get a better fit was a pain but was OK in the end, another GMN gold wing in the pipeline.
I did not do all this work, my friend Steve (Steveo) spent a good 6 (six) hours of his own time to help me out, what a great friend and club member he is, many many thanks Steve, I saw you struggle at certein points but you got there in the end.
If anyone is planning to replace their fan with the revotec, study the paperwork that comes with it and although seems straight forward once it`s done it can seem a little confusing the first time you have ever done one.

Morning Ken

Thank you for the above post.
I know it was very painful for you yesterday and appreciate the assistance given.

I would urge anyone fitting the new fan to utilise the now available fixing bracket.
It is a much more professional way of fitting the new unit.

I found the instructions to be a little confusing in places but given this was the first time I had fitted one it turned out pretty good in the end.

We are getting there Ken!
Regards
Steve

Fitted my drivers side cup holder, bit of a pig getting that clip to release but got it in the end. Bought a whole console bit from e-bay Italy spotted on here.
I changed the cappings as well as the walnut effect had better grain than mine.
got a nice bonus though, when I popped open the cigar lighter on the one from Italy I noticed it was the pre-project drive one, so in that went!!!.Looking more like I want it to now, well chuffed!!

uploadfromtaptalk1436877953740.jpg after reading about pipes rubbing and bursting, I had a look around whilst the bumper was off (to confirm intercooler hose was still firmly down). pipes all looked good, but showed signs of rubbing. using cable ties, to hold things together hopefully minimizing the vibration, I slipped those cable they things you get from b and m bargains over the pipes.

did the power steering / air con pipes, and the coolant pipe where it rubs on the chassis leg on left side

I don't think it will work miracles, but hopefully will prevent small leaks, leading to catastrophic failures

Finally had a chance to reposition the DVR.

The Mini 0805 is now in front, looking straight forward, and the Navall 1 DVR is in the back looking straight back (and doesn't get knocked off by the sunblind anymore ).

Happy bunny.
Later this week a very big service and a small undercarriage clean.
