Thank you all for those thoughts, you have no idea what it meant that someone else was there for us last night, as we have almost no living blood relatives between the two of us now.
The evening was very pleasant in the open-air square cloistered castle courtyard restaurant. Music was being played so softly that it was difficult to identify, although the old stonework caused it to gently echo around. I certainly recognised some by Enya especially the piece 'I dreamt I dwelt in Marble Halls' which raised goosebumps on my skin! Certainly a night to remember, for pleasant reasons for once. Thank you again, I was in doubt that I had done the right thing immediately after posting, now I am reassured. That's enough feeling sorry for ourselves, back to work next week. Maybe... |

Glad that to think a post that others and myself posted to helped on your night. Even more happy to read that you relaxed on your night within your own thoughts together.
Best regards Lost Soul. |

Hi Bernard, so sorry to have missed your post last night but i have been working away for a couple of days and not been on here as much as usual.
its nice to know that for all the banter and humour we get up to on the forum that we can all stop and reflect on what are the most important things in our lives and take a few minutes to be serious for once, best wishes to you and Janina and look forward to seeing you at a meet when you get back

I am very touched by the posts on here.
Death is something that is all too hard to deal with, yet it seems every individual deals with it in a slightly different way. The very fact that posters are discussing losing their offspring makes this thread all the more touching. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I think it also shows what an amazing forum and club we have here. |
