1. Front footwell carpet removals

I think this happened in early 2003 (I've owned two '52 plate 75s that have had the carpet, but I have yet to see an '03 plate that has the carpet in the footwells.

2. Rear of the front seats (Classic and Club only)

My last 2002 Rover 75 had a plastic facing to the rear of the front seats, whilst 2001 Rover 75 has velour.

The plastic in the footwell is a particular bugbear of mine. And once you've seen it, you can't unsee it.

That is different, it's for the greater airflow design of the MG-KV190 engine. The Rover version is for a smaller diameter shannon tube and it's shaped more like a tapered trumpet end

Just another project drive observation (that I can't see noted anywhere).

May 2001 Rover 75 has 'Rover' written on the fog and headlight. The fogs also have a 'hood' over the bulb.

December 2002 Rover 75 loses the Rover script from the fog and headlight. The fog light also loses its 'hood'.

Also note that earlier headlights have a grey backing which looks less obvious next to the reflectors where there is a small gap. On later ones with the black backing the gap is more obvious.
