What's wrong with the OEM mounts. They seem to be good for 100,000 miles or am I missing something?

I'd never fit a Roewe mount to a CDT, as the Chinese have never made a diesel engined car and the vibrations and harmonics coming from a diesel engine are completely different to that of a diesel unit!

If I owned a CDT, the only mount that I'd fit, is this one!

Only time will tell, but my money would be on not by a million miles (so to speak). This is based on my experience of chinese manufactured quads, lawnmowers, carbs etc.

In any case, as your car is a CDT, the genuine MGR item is the only viable option at this time.

I got mine from the College Motors - their price is quite a bit cheaper than most Xpart suppliers.

Given that this part deteriorates with mileage and time, I would suggest investment in a new one - it's not a lot of money for 100k miles and 8-9 year lifespan.

Very wise, i fitted the chinese one to my diesel and it failed after 2 months, they are not up to the job, had to replace it with rover part from Rimmers.

Depending upon the type of mileage, they can begin to split long before that. Even the OEM item is not really robust enough for the job.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.
