Hi hoping somebody knows the answer, what would be the minimum charge on a battery in order to start a 75 diesel please?

It would depend on the type of charger, battery condition and the amount of charge already in it.

Well the reason I am asking is because the car is not being driven presently as I am recuperating from eye surgery the voltage today was 11.67v static it may be a month or so before driving again I am not in a position to recharge it would it be ok to leave it as is and fully recharge later?

Car batteries like to be fully charged at all times Mario, so leaving it until later is asking for trouble. Can you not take the battery indoors and charge it there?

Ah sorry I miss read the OP. If you aren't going to drive it for a month then leave it disconnected for the best chance of it starting the car when you need it.

As mentioned, giving it a full charge now is worth doing if you or any mate can.

Hi Simon problem being that I am not allowed to lift anything heavy so unable to remove battery etc I do have a quality charger but the logistics of connecting it up to charge and trigle maintain not favourable presently.

I might be able to commence 'normal' activity again ( but not driving) in a couple of weeks time so might just leave it as it is and see? What do you think?

I think that you should ask a relative/friend/neighbour if they can do you a small favour by carrying your car battery to your home so that you can charge it.

How about buying yourself a solar battery charger for about £20 that plugs in to your OBD socket. No lifting involved, and it will keep your battery just topped up. The AA do a good one.
