It would depend on the type of charger, battery condition and the amount of charge already in it.

Well the reason I am asking is because the car is not being driven presently as I am recuperating from eye surgery the voltage today was 11.67v static it may be a month or so before driving again I am not in a position to recharge it would it be ok to leave it as is and fully recharge later?

Car batteries like to be fully charged at all times Mario, so leaving it until later is asking for trouble. Can you not take the battery indoors and charge it there?

As mentioned, giving it a full charge now is worth doing if you or any mate can. |

I might be able to commence 'normal' activity again ( but not driving) in a couple of weeks time so might just leave it as it is and see? What do you think? Last edited by grivas; 9th September 2017 at 17:31.. Reason: Spelling |
