2005 Connie SE Tourer CDTi Auto (Firefrost with Sunroof) **NOW SOLD**
OK to create some room to expand my collection of T series Turbo Cars (Wyn Eurorover what have you done to me!) I am considering shifting my lovely diesel tourer.
Its Firefrost with dark leather heated seats; its an SE Auto with Sunroof and Cruise Control. In super condition overall. Just over 112k so just run in. I have had it for a fab 20 months covering nearly 30,000 but I have become obsessed by 2.0 T series 90s petrol Rovers and am expanding the pack. It has a Ron box and Pierberg MAF, Longlife SS exhaust and EGR bypass together with a K and N filter. It also has the Synergy dash switch; front discs and pads all around this year. New springs all around. Michelin tyres fitted this year about 10k ago (currently on brand new Winter Tyres (Bridgestone) both sets included). Suspension bushes also done. New drive belts and genuine lower engine mount (spare Powerflex one included too in the aluminium mount). Waxoyled everywhere!! Auto box fluid changed, running Mobil 0W40 engine oil (and filters done a month ago inc cabin filter and PCV). Aircon works a treat. Fan resistor done. Twin tone horns (MKI) fitted along with some other bits pre project drive like proper door reflectors and torpedoes. Sunroof drains done and clean. Mudlflaps all around. I have done a fair bit to it; new mats, wood and chrome detailing kit in light oak from Simon, driver cup holder, blue tooth stereo (wireless phone and music), flaps all around, Crofts door finishers, headlamp protectors, front deflectors, new chrome flags and so on. Also lots of interior things like load nets in the car and loadspace; storage tra under the boot floor; flip down warning triangle, MGR toolkit and emergency kit, and of course a 75 brolly. BAD BITS? Everything works well with two exceptions; the rear washer is not exactly a flood ( it does work and is better since it had a new pump). Also the rear parking sensors work most of the time but occasionally give me a continuous beep. I have put allot into this car and I love it dearly but I think I am now addicted to Petrol turbos!!!!!!!! And an electric car..... don't ask! Pics door finishers new wheel bolts with chrome covers stainless new grille fitted when I did the fan resistor and twin tone horns engine detailing; well I like it anyway! 2 litre torpedoes; chose these over the diesel ones wind deflectors rare MGR accessory interior (winter mats in; have a spare late MKII embroidered set for the summer) Wood and chrome kit for dash and so on (twin cupholders) MOT until June and tax until July; I am the second owner This is a great car and will give someone allot of fun; £2600 Not in a rush to sell; need to find the right next keeper Last edited by ProfDave; 17th November 2013 at 20:15.. Hello. Very interested in your tourer. I'm in Swansea, and Wyn maintains my car too (manual diesel saloon - want an auto estate!) I've been looking for a really good one for ages, and yours looks beautiful. Could I come and have a look? No idea how I'd move my existing one on, but I'd have to worry about that later. I'm not very familiar with this forum and how to send you a PM with my mobile no, but if you send me one, I reckon I could just about pick it up and then reply! Thank you. Look forward to hearing from you. Nick
