old/dead diesel in-tank fuel pump? Wanted
I might have a try at dissecting an old one to see where its worn - has anyone got a failed one they want to sell me?
If anyone is about to get one replaced by the garage, please don't throw it...! |

bump! still after one, or if you want to hang onto it, just the dimensions of the original pump cannister.
Walbro are going to see if they can match something without having to buy all the peugeot gubbins. |

Hi Pondweed,
I recently bought a dead one on Ebay to dissect and attempt to repair before mine dies. I had intended to leave it until after Christmas to take apart but will try and find time during this week. I will let you know the dimensions as soon as I have them. As an aside I note that there is one on Ebay at the moment going cheap. Steve

fab. many thanks. take me couple of pics of the cannister ends too and I'll forward that all on to them - it will be almost as good as having the thing in front of them (we hopes)

Hi Pondweed,
I have now got the blessed pump in pieces. What measurements do you need? I will try and uplift some photos shortly.

brill!
well, anything off the cannister/electrical pump itself. - dia, length, anything else you think relevant to finding another to fit! Walbro have indicated from photos that it appears to be "similar to one of their range" but the measurements will help a great deal to getting something priced. |
