Cool

It has absolutely chucked it down all day along with the gale force winds.

I’m still not firing on all cylinders. But I did eat my dinner, and drinking a delicious red wine called “Jam Shed”. Really smooth.

Another day of baby (wet & windy) weather today, but it did stop raining for about an hour this afternoon which fortunately coincided with our trip into town for Mrs Gs Coronavirus vaccination.
Chicken cobbler for dinner this evening.

Cool

Good morning everyone.

Still raining but at the least the wind has died down.

Slept a bit better last night.

Essential trip out this morning to the PO, 3 new membership packs to send off.

Morning, the thaw has set in here too Jeff, a lot of snow disappeared overnight, bit of mist around but forecast to be a dry day. Have to take mum for an eye clinic appointment this morning,so will need to be at hers for just after 9 to get her up and ready. It’s a good job I am having to wear tinted glasses atm,I looked in the mirror last night and I look like I have been in a fight. Huge prominent dark circles round my eyes, all down to the stress of worrying about mum. Phoning her surgery today and the care company to see about getting her an assessment and what extra help she can get. I can’t go on like this ,it will end up making me ill.

Morning all, Very mild this morning compared to the month or so big freeze we've had Feels like Spring weather.

Just been into the garage to put the battery maintainer on the Rover & noticed my strawberries have emerged from under the ice

The Winter broad beans I planted in October were doubled over & limp with the minus temps over the last few weeks but they've come round & are stood up straight now,

And then I'll hold you in my dreams
