Default A touch of madness

Nice day, car already clean and no little fixes to do - I was bored. So off with the wheels and give the wheel wells a scrub, and then canuba wax and polish the lot - springs and all .
Wifey thinks I'm going insane but I don't care the shiney bits show up quite well from a distance and I'm happy

Well I've had morning off work to check car over
Noticed o/s/f rear wishbone bush starting to split
N/s wishbone centre balljiont gater split so il change both wishbones and rear bushs fairly soon

Also I think my inter cooler pipe seals have blown again so need to sort them out
So as soon as I'm able to get another day off they will be sorted

Default Egr/pcv

Hi all
Today I changed my Pcv filter and cleaned out my Egr valve
I couldn't believe the crud in the valve as the car has only done 44000 miles.
Regards
Steve

Well today has been big tick in the box, back end last year had number of issues which included the poor MG cooling fan failing with the thermostat Sticking open too. So over past couple months I have changed fan for new one from Jules, also cleaned out the screen reservoir filter, replaced Zenon burners and today replaced the thermostat. Now tested and run through heat cycle and proved fan working and thermostat up to temperature.

So to get back on road I just have to refit the bumper properly and get her MOT'd and aircon re gassed, then ready for summer.

Today I was having the idea on fitting a set of after market reverse sensors, parking-aid kit. I've done this before on my previous two 75's, now need to do the same for the red ZT, but do I drill into that lovely gorgeous rear bumper, thats the stressful bit.

All rear bumpers have the markings where the factory fit sensors would go, I suppose I could use the original measurements.

Default Sensors

Hi Westley
Contemplating this job myself but don't want to drill the bumper, i had thought of drilling through the chrome trim (inset) then if I change my mind I can just purchase another trim and hide the holes.
What do you think?
Regards
Steve

There is a "How-To" somewhere on here showing you what and how to do it...

As Dallas says, there are cut-outs in all the Bumpers showing where to drill the holes.
