Default Zt Straight Alloy And Almost New Toyo

Trading in the ZT on Friday was just going to take the spare straight alloy out of the car and sell that but decided to take the best alloy and tyre off the car so they are almost mint.

18 inch "straight" alloy only one small light scuff (see pic) with a toyo 225 45 18 tyre with 10mm centre tread and 8mm outer, only been on back of car a couple of months so like new.

£85 collection from Kendal, Cumbria or you can send an alloy wheel courier to collect for about £10 plenty listed on ebay

Thats what i thought no use to me but didnt want to give away with the car, got a good price for the ZT but had a few other little niggles (said would fit parking sensors for free now say cant fit due to shape of bumper on a zafira vxr but aftermarket companies reacon no probs, tried to charge £300 for road tax when its £205) so all the goodies that can come off have done.

Also have the jack brace etc if needed

is it directional - i.e. can you fit it only if you have a puncture on one side...?
silly question but does it do the tyre damange if you run it the other way

It does look Directional so Yes you may have to Swap two Wheels over, I have a similar problem with my Spare.
If you fit it the wrong way, the main thing would be very poor performance in the wet as tyre would not throw away/clear the water properly, as well as not correct ride characteristics.

Hadnt thought of that, think it is directional going by the pattern - saying that the tyre is like new and wheel only a tiny scuff so if you had a more worn tyre that is multi directional could use that as your spare.

Even the wrong way round the toyo has to be better than the fisher price space saver which you cant go over 50mpg on
