Morning all, Another overnight deluge & still raining here with yellow warnings out for more heavy rain & thunderstorms. Typical bank holiday weekend weather.

Has everyone gone away for the bank holiday weekend? Shopping done at ASDA in quick sticks I thought it might be packed but half empty.
Apple juice stores is looking healthy again

Thanks Howard,

It was an enjoyable show over the two days.
The only sad thing is that we don't seem to get the fast jets anymore.
We always used to have the Tornado and Harrier when they were in service and more recently the Eurofighter Typhoon.
The last couple of years though, we have not had frontline fast jets....Shame but there you go.

Today we have the Dutch Grand Prix, BTCC from Donington Park and Newcastle v Liverpool to watch. I shall be mainly horizontal on the sofa shouting at the TV

Afternoon all.

Up North this weekend.

Rich & I decided not to walk Quizzie - in what turned out to be a very good decision as we've had monsoon rain here.

Typing this as I watch more rain coming down and being "enthusiastically" asked for "Thomas the Tank Engine" by 3 year old Oliver while Quizzie is curled up under my legs sound asleep. I'll succumb soon .
