Default Having a Victor Meldrew moment

I dont ****** believe it !!

If you look back at some of my previous post, you will see that in the last couple of months I have spent a fortune on my cars, so please excuse my rant

About a year ago, my wifes Skoda Fabia packed up, but not to much of a problem as I had a Rover 75 saloon & had just bought a Rover 75 Tourer, so I lent my with the saloon. In the mean time, we have been trying to fix the Skoda & have had so many miss-diagnoses it has also cost us a fortune & is still not running anywhere near right.

Just had the alternator done on the saloon, one day later wife came home from work with power steering pouring out, so she has been borrowing my mums Peugeot 206, the MOT needing doing, so I took the 206 for the MOT yesterday & the wife used my tourer (which she knows I love) She came home last night shaking & telling my she had a little accident in it
She had to swerve to miss a deer but ended up hitting a grass verge & ripping off the plastic inner wing on the drivers side that now needs replacing..

Luckily there is no other damage apart from a snapped brake pad warning light wire.

Shame but sounds like she didn't have any choice but to do what she did. Least it can be replaced, as said.

There are 2 jacks, so it's Fiiiiine It's good to live dangerously sometimes

As above. A Bit of plastic can be replaced. Actually hitting the deer would mean new bumper, possibly a bonnet, headlight, radiator possibly etc etc...

these things happen, at least everyone is ok

Quite a lot of the roads where we are, are not much more than single track lanes, the deer ran out from the left & the wife dived to the right
