Changed one of these on my wife's car not due to rust but it had a deep scratch across it. Got it from Rimmers and it was quite easy to change.

Luckily when I broke the ZT I had 4 good ones (a bit faded but no rust) so now have spares for the future

Good job well done mate. Looking at these I cant see why they would rust but I have seen them as bad as your dad car on other cars so it must be a weak spot on some

Mine are getting close to that bad - 2 of them anyway. They're on the list for later this year.

You dont happen to sell these do ya buddy...

All car parts fast are selling them (I assume via XPart) for £21.06 (the one im after is CUL100150) beating Rimmer's by a few quid.

Looking good Rick..It looks so much better. I never realised they could even be changed over until your post.
Cheers I didn't realise how easy it was to replace them until I saw a post on here about it last year

Nice one, great links and info. Thanks all for input.

Has anybody replaced all four, considering their age, would they all not be suffering and if so, roughly how much?
I replaced 3 out of 4 on my Dad's, only the near side rear door one was okay, other 3 needed replacing. I bought the finishers over 6 months ago so can't remember how much I got them for, but I have a second set if you're interested which are off my breaker.

Thanks mate the problem is theres no seal at the top preventing water from making it's way behind the finisher, and I'm guessing the water must get stuck there after that as it was the bottoms of the finishers that were rusting. I'm thinking of sealing the gap at the top with some black silicone to prevent any water from getting in there.
