I currently have an early Cowley V6 with Black sill's and it also has the bottom of the front and rear bumper in black.So as mentioned the lower parts of the bumpers could have bee painted,But it then begs the question why not do the sills aswell

Yeah, my point exactly. It's either all black on Cowley cars or body-coloured all around on Longbridge (and very late Cowley) ones, but not a mix of both. A very good-looking car nonetheless, OEW is a personal favorite of mine.

The car was partly repainted by the previous owner. So I guess they overlooked the lower bumper parts. But it is less bad than painting the sills, that would raise too many questions about Cowley's origin. I will bring the bumpers back to the original state. |
