I tried to get one of those cut but the only place that I found that would do the job said that the key was very slightly different dimensions and wouldn't work. I measured with calipers and it was only a tiny bit different, can't imagine it would have made any difference

I have not asked Mat of DMGRS, maybe he could get a batch of blanks made in China.
I think he manages to conjure up things for us if there is enough demand.
I for one would be interested.
It would also bring business for the T4 traders too.

That would be good - the original was Valeo, like the main keys. Not sure if SIAC/NAC did emergency keys?

Transponders, whether in flat keys such as this one or standard keys, can not be programed with Toaf...but neither can T4. They can only program the remote part of the key to open/close doors, but not the transponder to start the engine. This requires special equipment. A few traders offer this service here...

It might be an idea to get the guy who runs/owns "keys in the post" involved. Could be a money spinner for him and a great asset for us!
I would make some enquiries myself but got a lot going on myself at the moment.

Your lucky you found someone willing to cut it for you.

All my local shops refused to cut a third party key blank due to HEALTH & SAFETY reasons. !
