Ok this is what's fitted to your car as the ZCS coding.

GM string = KV6, 2.5L, MG, LHD, Market ECE, Manual Transmission, Language UK. 71350221 (A)

SA string= 95 ron fuel, unleaded, battery alarm, alarm with ultrasonic, ECD3, Side airbags, curtain airbags, 18" wheels, electric front and rear windows, one shot up, one shot open, anti trap, Auto A/C, headlamp delay, headlamp wash, Xenons, Post cat O2 sensor, electric sunroof.
228060C18309424A (H)

VN string= 190PS, LSM C28, KMB CO3
0200000021 (C)

The Letters in the brackets are the checksum digits

Which things do you want to add that are not working at the moment, or is anything on the list that isn't fitted.

If so I will recalculate them for you and tell you how to force the car into manually inputting the new codes

Russ

Not installed xenon. Not installed 18" wheels. Not installed ultrasonic alarm sensors. Not installed headlight washers.
Installed Cruise control. Installed the Traction control. Installed PDC.
Installed the IPK(high) with on-Board computer. Installed LCM Rover 75.
You can disable software and xenon/headlight washers/18" wheels/ultrasonic sensors alarm/Traction control.
You can turn on the Cruise control/PDC/IPK(high) with onboard computer/LCM Rover 75.
If it is possible to do?
Which means ECD3 ?
This VIN number is the MG ZT equipped with the ABS/ASP?
There is a calculator for counting ZCS codes Rover 75/MG ZT?

With Respect
Denis

Thanks for that Denis.

Just a couple of more questions so I can generate the correct SA string, have you fitted the Traction ABS module or are you using the Non traction one? and have you fitted the BBUS alarm sounder?

The Xenon LSM can be converted by swapping over the facia from the 75 one and the High line pack option can be changed on T4 in the dealer options menu later

ECD3 is the 2003 Emission control setting.

With no Xenons, Lamp wash, 18" wheels, no Ultrasonic alarm, no traction no bbus.
And cruise and PDC enabled the SA string becomes:

SA= 218648C08308024A (A)

The instructions for putting the car into requesting the entering of ZCS coding:

Please note: Follow the steps below exactly

Firstly disconnect the Siemens ECM and fit an IPK from another car, doesn't matter if it's high line or low line. This will confuse T4 enough

Log the car in to T4 using the VIN number.

T4 will come up with a message that it can only read the configuration from one ECU and is this configuration correct.

Select NO.

You will then have to enter the ZCS coding there are 3 screens,First the GM string, then the SA string, then finally the VN string DO NOT forget the Checksum digits when you get to entering the VN string do not press enter or continue until you have completed the next step!

Before continuing and without turning off the ignition, reconnect the ECM and refit the IPK.

Press continue and the new coding will be entered.

Finally check the vehicle configuration screen to check if the coding is correct.

If it says that it's an invalid connfiguration you can always return it to how it was by entering your original ZCS and checksums and then we can try and sort out any problems.

Hi Russ

For my own curiosity and because I have a T4 myself, would this procedure apply to all sorts of engine or is it specific to the KV6 ECM?

I want to turn the system off Traction control. ABS system will work.
If you mean the beep alarm (BBus), it I install will not.
LSM set Rover 75.
ECD3-about this option everything is clear to me.
