Car will be inspected in a couple of days. Valued at £1000 on the insurance, no excess to pay 'cos it's a proven non fault accident. Hoping for as much as possible and keep the car. Will be buying exactly the same car. That way, spares like doors, wings, bumpers and bonnet etc can be changed. Car has recent dampers and front springs, rear wheel bearing, 2 mth old battery, FBH and a DD radio. That's the plan anyway, but if someone turns up with a 'minter' then I may be swayed. Thanks for all replies.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Unfortunately it’s the modern way of driving, not you, by those who are trying to get there yesterday. Pain in the hoss.
