Last winter a local owner of a 500 offered us a lift to a party in the village. I had to climb in the back with Mrs SDA. Not a problem for her at 5ft 2ins but my 6ft 2ins 16 stone nearly got stuck on the way in and out. During the, luckily, very short journey I was contorted in ways that I didn't think possible.

At least SXL93 my 1953 Topolino 500C had the honesty to only have two seats and a bench for luggage in the rear. Mind it was a potential fiery death trap, with the petrol tank forming the scuttle. The engine was upfront and the radiator sandwiched in between, Any strong impact on the front would've sent the engine backwards into the tank and if it split you'd be barbecued.

Abarth nice

But is it in the top 10 of girly cars

Says the person who has been playing with the mood lighting in the Soho today

I bet you will be giving it a bit of test drive

Nice one mate, if memory serves me correctly they have T-JET, engine with straight 4 cylinders, with 4 valves per cylinder
Max power output
180 hp (132 kW) @ 5500 g/m
Max torque
250 Nm @ 3000 rpm
With a Garrett GT 1446 turbocharger and a good performance intake system and about a 0-60 time in 6.5 seconds😁

Fun fun and more fun😀😀😀
Enjoy
Mick

I like the 500, good on fuel and easy to mend. I got this one five years ago for £1,900 with 34,000 on the clock, the one owner of it had a seizure at the wheel and had her licence taken away. It cost £2,600 including buying it to put back on the road and has had 1 clutch and some gearbox bearings, some tyres and brake pads and a front lower arm in the last 32,000 miles since getting it. They're great little cars and quite nimble on the road.

I have a customer that has one, it has a lovely growl to it and I’m told it’s like the proverbial off a stick.
