Me or are you answering something else?

What can you do about it if so?

After having front broken spring, I decided to replace both front springs and dampers. I managed to acquire all the new parts, except the parts marked blue. These I did take and reuse from old assembly.

Tbf the bonnet is a bit ropey

I'm getting a new windscreen fitted today by Auto Windscreens, crack in the bottom right hand corner of the screen ( viewing from the driving seat). Stress fracture too

Pot holes round here are terrible so could be reason I guess

When I had it done a few years ago the fitter suggested that someone had levered between glass and scuttle instead of popping clips out

Recently replaced the front "spring assisters", the one on that side of car was completely fubar, another possible cause

Dodged the showers to fit this today, along with a new spring and a rear drop link.

Hi Robert.
I see you have used a Freelander 1 engine cover, and done away with our whole engine cover, just a little heads up you have now exposed the the EGR bypass which any decent MOT tester could or should spot and if so its a fail on the MOT.

1

How the Freelander 1 engine cover looks in situ, with the EGR exposed.

Duct taped the rear window in place, as it decided to drop tonight when my son dropped the car round to park up on the drive after getting a puncture earlier this evening...
