Brake pad warning light
Are the ZT and 75s on the same kind of system as BMW/Mini whereby you need T4 or a Snap-on Synergy thingy to tell the car you repaired it?

Once you have replaced the warning light sensor, you just drive the car and the light should go out, if not then either the other one is playing up, of the one you have fitted is faulty. you can of cause just twist the wire together on both the front and the rear sensors and forget get forever, you would then need to check visually on the brake pads, but if you anyone is waiting for the brake pad sensor to tell you the pads need changing then the pad in my opinion are really low, i prefer to change the pad before the light comes. Unless you have a the light on because of chaffing or a break in the wiring. 1 2 3 4

Cheers Arctic, I might get away with doing a few more miles then (fingers crossed lol)
I needed a wheel bearing and a sensor, and the Brake pad lamp had been on for a while due to a brake in the cable. Took me a while, but I chased it out and fixed it. I did it all today and changed the disks and pads too as they were really pitted due to lack of use. I'll just have to join the masses on Monday and go for a proper run |
