I own a roved 75 connoisseur 2004 estate can you tell me how i can tell my MPG ? I don't think it's on the display on the dash

Press the left steering wheel stick button to cycle through the display.

Thank's iv'e only got steering buttons on the left hand side so it should be on there ? does the ignition need to be on ?

Ignition needs to be on and you need to push the button on the end of the indicator stalk to cycle through the options. if you have no button I'm afraid you have not got this option.

I think that this would have been a cost option at the time of purchase of the car. My ZT is pretty sparse on the options too!

Hello Alan,

My 2004 brochure (for facelifted cars) says that the trip computer was an option on the Connoisseur.

You can still check your fuel consumption using the brim-to-brim method, but for accuracy it's best to do this using as near to a full tank of diesel as possible.

My 54 plate do not have it either even though it cost nearly £28k when new

Do it the old way!

Fill tank to brim.
Reset distance trip
Drive
When almost empty, fill again.
Look at how many litres you've get back in the tank compared to the miles on the trip.
Calculate!

That's more accurate than a few sensors!
