Default Illuminated mirror sunvisors for the ZT

Hi guys,

I really miss the illuminated vanity mirrors from our old 75, and would like to have them in our ZTT. From reading various threads, the wiring ought to be there already, so all good.

The difficulty - I think - is finding a pair of Rover sunvisors in a colour to match the ZT head lining.

Has anyone done this, and which visors do I need to get? Or do I need to dye what ever part I purchase?

Thanks in advance!

They were made for the ZT as well, I got a pair a while back, simple upgrade. ZT interior is smokestone, bung an ad in the wanted section or contact the traders direct by PM.

You've actually just missed a set! Holland314 put a set up on the 14th, went within a day or so.

I have a smokestone pair that were for my Old ZT...

I now have a 75, so don't need them anymore...

I was going to stick them in the for sale section, but if your interested then drop me a PM

For info, the sunvisors for any ZT can come from any Rover 75 with Ash Grey Interior.

OR put another way, if the donor 75 has dark door card armrest bolsters like below, and the visors are of the illuminated variety, you are in business

Just don't get them from a car that has beige door card armrest bolsters as below.

Guys, absolutely brilliant!

Pete, I'll drop you a PM

I think I've read that the wiring for the lamps are already there, even in a "poverty spec" ZTT (climate control and electric windows all round, but not much else)?

It's a worth upgrade.

As for spec, that isn't poverty spec. Some ZT didn't even have climate contol and they didn't have rear electric windows either, even on the V8!

You can usually tell these from a mile away as the ZT lettering is black instead of silver.

No. 16 of only 52 Nocturne Blue 75/ZT ever produced. ONLY TEN of these were ZT 190+

Mine was a lowly low spec but still had the wiring looms there. Quick and simple upgrade. I also put led lights in at the same time to get rid of the dull yellow bulbs.

The connection plugs will be there, hidden in some cases. I have the visors fitted, in Smokestone, had to get rid of those horrible vinyl factory fitted items..
