Default Pop up garage

Wondering if any owners have use or use a pop up garage like https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/clar...t-garage---da/ I’m considering building a garage/workshop but I need somewhere to store stuff whilst I do that and think these would be ideal reviews seam to be good but thought I’d ask anyway.

Cool

Rev Jules has one that he got from Germany, stores one of his cars inside. Give him a pm for the details.

A friend recently purchased one to keep his Jag in as he has lost his garage. Seems well made. He has put some wood that sits under the tyres to keep it from blowing away.

You will need a help to put it up as it is quite cumbersome.

Have seen similar at ,Costco Wullie, the one they had was more marquee style with panels being attached to a metal frame, I will see if I can find a link.

I've bought and used three of these ranging from small to the 7m one. My son took the big one to the IOW where it protected his project for two years but it was a sheltered spot. Assembly is fairly straightforwards, but ideally it's a two person job. I recommend you make sure it's well anchored, especially if in an exposed area. In a 50 knot gale they writhe like a live animal and it can look quite alarming. They are quite robust, but in the instructions it actually recommends they are taken down in a storm (which I found bizarre to say the least! I dug a hole in the four corners of the last one I erected and put in Postcrete to anchor the metal rods supplied. Wire hawsers tie the ground spike to the frame
If they are well anchored, they should certainly last three years before looking a little worse for wear. Check them before and after a big storm. I replaced the wire hawsers on mine with s/s bolts through the frame at the corners because the hawsers were nearly failed after two years. The gable end of the one I've had up for three years now looks like a colander in parts and little holes are appearing in the roof which need gaffer tape now and again. Far better than being in the rain when working on anything and useful for storage. If you have the space, get a slightly larger size than you think you need.
