KV6 gearbox 2/4 duty solenoid replacement
Hi
I have found a very helpful guide for replacing the above, but when removing the air box on my car there is a metal bracket that the air box sits on which restricts access to the inspection cover on the front of the gearbox, can this bracket be removed to gain better access to the cover bolts. Thanks in advance Tony |

Three 13mm headed bolts that go into the chassis leg, better accessed from underneath the car reaching up to the bracket from below.

I've done the job myself it's not a nice one especially if your doing it on Jack stands. You have to feel for these 3 13mm from what I remember correctly one is pretty hidden. Also if you're good with draining the coolant taking off those radiators hoses will give you much better access. Lastly be careful with the pan bolts 2 snapped on mine when I went to take then off.
