Diesel cruise issue
Hi,
I recently bought a second Diesel 75 (manual) with cruise. I tried to use the cruise today....nothing, pressing the master switch (which lights up green) doesnt activate the cruise light on the ipk, and nothing happens when pressing any steering wheel switches. All mini fuses have been changed, and the control unit is connected (under the glove box). Could this be the pedal switches or something else? does the ipk cruise light come on still even when the pedal switches are adrift/faulty? Thanks Paul |

Paul, you need to be going at least 30MPH to engage cruise
However the more likely candidate is the clutch pedal switch. With the lower dash trim removed, fell up past the clutch master cylinder at the top of the pedal, and you will find the switch. With your other hand depress the clutch pedal slightly, and pull the switch towards you, then gently release the clutch pedal. You should hear the pedal switch clicking back on it's ratchet, then the cruise should operate as per normal Best of luck Brian |

Please forgive me if this is too obvious, but it took me a while to get used to the fact the the steering wheel controls operate towards you instead of away from you as was the case with my previous car.

I did have a play around with the switches, as its been a long time since I have had a 75 with cruise, just in case I was being a plum! and wasnt using the correct sequence. Thanks Paul |

All Sorted
Thanks Brian,
all sorted now, it was the clutch switch after all, must have been disturbed when the Tazu master was fitted. Cheers Paul |

Do all the other steering wheel buttons work? Could be a problem with the rotary coupler.

Also check the brake pedal switch Alex, it's used for the cruise too.
