Default Windows notebook/tablet

Hi,
Can anyone recommend a good, lowcost Windows Notebook/Tablet ?
I need something portable to take to work (can be building sites). I use Windows office for our paperwork.
Thanks
Paul

I use a Dell Venue 8 Pro Paul, works well and can handle Windows 10 no problem. There are 2 models, one works with an active stylus and the other doesn't (which only really matters if you want to use the touchscreen to draw or write on).

I did look at these, as they seem very good, but a little pricey.
Stuff goes missing on sites all the time (even down to drill batteries) so want to
avoid a heart attack if the notebook does get er...borrowed.
Might look at a Surface pro for home, when my laptop needs replacing.
Thanks
Paul
