Well there is no hiding my disappointment at the performance, and certain players inparticular.Never will England have an easier path to the final.I think that was the probably the worst I have seen Kane play for club or country, and it happens in the bigest game of his career. It's been suggested he was carrying an injury, well if that was the case he shouldn't have started when we had replacements in Rashford and Vardy. He wasn't on his own Ali and Lingard were just as bad and both had a poor tournament, but we expect better from Kane.I thought Sterling played well tonight and was in no way to blame. We got off to the perfect start and could have had it won by half time but for poor finishing. My England player of the tournament is Pickford who again tonight kept us in it with some fantastic saves.Certainly not glorious failure, more a missed golden opportunity. No doubt about it, the best team on the night won.Good luck to Croatia in the final.

Just two more games left!

Gutted for England. They did well to get this far, however...

Croatia outclassed England in the 2nd half. They knew England’s weaknesses and took advantage. Every time they went forward, they looked likely to score. We played well in the first half and controlled the game well but were awful in the 2nd half. If Croatia play like they did in the 2nd half, they have every chance against France. I still think France will nick it but it wouldn’t surprise me one bit if this is Croatia’s turn...it’s no walk in the park for both teams by any means.

Very impressed with Croatia in the second half, excellent energy levels for a team in their third straight extra time. We got swamped down our left hand side in the second half and had no reply. Our midfielders were too busy chasing the ball to link up with the forwards.

Harry Kane, a brilliant footballer and high scorer, but was he was carrying an old injury and had to hold back in fear of one of the injuries completely disabling him. I just had a look at his injury history and wonder if he could have been replaced with someone who was fitter?

Agreed. Kane not up to his usual levels in the alst 2 games. We were unable to close them down effectively after half time and if you don't take your chances, you lose.

Well done to the team for getting so far

As a Welshman living in Scotland.......has something been going on in Russia??

Seriously some thoughts....... when in Dundee last week I thought England hadn't actually qualified when walking into the pubs there, as there was no sign of the flag on the W.C buntings being displayed.........then realised they had all been cut off

Easy route to the semi, so a real chance lost by Engerland.......although you only need to beat what is put in front of you.

Perhaps they (media and pundits) shouldn't have been planning the final from when they lost to Belgium .......one game at a time lads. Watch and listen to Roy Keane last night.....priceless.

Perhaps all the British TV , papers etc can get back to normal now.

Good luck to Croatia against France.....I think they may need it.

Perhaps those who are happy to see England eliminated ought to say say so.
