Ford have a department that finds other uses for its parts, one that comes to mind is the seat adjuster is used on some hospital trolleys. It would be interesting to find out how much they charge for the parts?

Interestingly some manufacturers deliberately make parts not fit between models, I know someone who imported a motorbike from the USA, there were several bits that had screw holes in different places including the crank case cover. How can that make economical sense?

Was to talking to one of our suppliers and they are now having to pay a premium for sea containers as there is a world wide shortage so they then put up product prices to cover their extra costs- inflation here we come!!

Funnily enough, we're a few grand lighter thanks to this on our incoming shipment
