The density of the rubber might be hard to determine, so as Brian says obtaining the original drawings is the best option.

As an example of this, later Allegro Mk3 engine mounts look identical for the two types of engine, but have different part numbers - a set of scales showed that the weights were different, and therefore the densities of the rubbers were different.

Shall do Brian, thank you!
It's times like this I wish I had the clout and know-how of a company like XPart.

I second that Ps3000, Matt makes big efforts to supply us with N/A Items.
We must give him full support.

Thanks also to 'Arctic' For his time & effort.

Don't worry all - I know the good intention behind all comments.
The support is appreciated - it's not easy finding some bits for our cars, but someone's gotta do it, as they say!

99% of my profit probably goes on coffee for my late night talks with SAIC MG and their distributors in China.

KHC000181 rear cross member bush appears to be no longer available. Does anyone know of an equivalent please?

Thanks in advance.

Ben.
