Default Timing belt time

Good afternoon, hope everybody is healthy

I need to have the timing belt/water pump replaced on my 2004 2.5 190, i have a couple of good local garages in my village who have given me rough quotes over the last year (400-500) and will speak to them in the next couple of days to narrow it down

Also plan to get the kit from DMGRS, prefer to make sure i supply the correct parts rather then the garage supply.

My question is does anyone have suggestions for another quote/garage in the Doncaster area.

Thank you in advance

Be careful supplying your own parts. You wont have any labour warranty if something leaks. Just make sure the garage use decent quality parts. £400-£500 doesn't sound too far off for parts and labour.

If you're worried about the garage not wanting to fit your parts, ask them to get in touch ([email protected] / 02380 001133) and we can supply directly
We use waterpumps from the MG Rover OE supplier, so if you can get one of our kits into their hands it'd be a safe bet.

U used a mobile service based in Derby who came to my place of work and they did that for me years ago
Still around

Happy with the job too
Did HG, cambelt, water pump and some gaskets, plus coolant and oil - £300. Was a few years back though
Maybe worth a try?

Try get your garage to get the parts from DMGRS . If they start playing up then they were probably planning on using the cheapest kit possible.
