From what I remember reading, they were fitted to those contraptions with the big fan at the back for use on waterways for one.

It was used in the Gibbs Aquada, which was a rich man's amphibious sports car, powered by a Rover 2.5 KV6 engine.

In fact, Richard Branson set up a record by slashing the time to cross the English Channel in one .

Very interesting and a good looking boat!
The investors in that project must have been mad.
I don't believe that could ever have been a commercial success, and I would be highly surprised if 10 unit have been sold.

Had it been a flying car, it might have been different.

And the demand for V6 engines for this project can hardly have been staggering.

That is very kind of you. Thanks.

Most of my life I've spent as a QA and have been very successful at it too.

Even to the extent of companies phoning me to offer me work because they know they'll get 100% return from me.

Was frequently used as trouble shooter to help cut firms losses.

I applaud you for reading all 11,000 of those posts to generate your valued assessment.

It would be almost certain be cheaper to buy another car with the parts you need in good working order and also, maybe, make money by selling off other bits of the car as spares.

The details in the earlier part of the thread make, what might one day be on offer, sound very expensive.---

Just wondered if this was still a live project, or has it been shelved?

I requested Lovel via PM many months ago and never obtained an answer. I apprehend this project will never be realised.
