Default Garage New Forest area (or Bournemouth, Southampton)

With the car coming up for MoT I was wondering if there were any garages in this area with R75 experience? It's possible that my front lower bushes might need doing, ideally with parts from a supplier of my choice. I've found some stuff by searching but the info is all a few years old. Anyone about down here?
Cheers
Van

Pm cb750chris. He's based in Fareham. Only does this part time and prefers that you source your own parts.
Lovely chap, very knowledgable and keen pricing.
Unfortunately, he's away in the States until the end of the month. Don't know how this fits in with your MOT schedule
Cheers
Geoff

if only you were asking at the beginning of the year, I used to live in the New Forest and would have done them.
I dont know if the chap is still working but Ashurst Garage next to the car wash in Ashurst.
Grumpy bloke but if you are nice you will win him round. He did some work on our previous cars and have no complaints. He may know more about Austin then Rover but I'd trust him. Cant recall his name but he must be near 80 now

We're based in Southampton, and a lot of local garages source MG-R parts from us.
We don't have an 'associated garage' per se, but I'll ask Scott (who lives 3 minutes away from the new warehouse in Holbury) for his recommendations.

Thanks for the recommendation.
If the op fancies a trip over to Fareham, drop me a PM and we can sort out a suitable date

Regards Chris

Thanks for all the replies. The car has passed its MoT. No advisory on the bush this time, but an advisory on steering rack inner joint. Doing some reading up on this it does tie in with some of the things the car does, and it also looks like I should be able to tackle it myself. Whereas with the bush I will have problems with access, tools, strength and patience. So I'm going to investigate further this weekend and check out the state of the various steering joints and the bushes myself.
Chris - Good to know you are about and I will be in touch if I need someone for the things I can't do.
